We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations within the department. The Human Resources Assistant will assist in the recruitment process, maintain employee records, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the HR department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies on various platforms, including social media management.
- Manage applicants and ensuring smooth recruiting for the business.
- Conduct data entry tasks to maintain accurate employee records within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, liaising with candidates and hiring managers to facilitate smooth communication.
- Assist in maintaining employee files and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing reports and managing correspondence.
- Help organise training sessions and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in human resources or a related administrative role is preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in human resources is a plus.
