You’ve worked in HR or recruitment support. You’re organised, good with details, and you’ve got a sense for how people tick. You know this is the kind of work you want to build a career in, and now you’re ready for more.

We’re Orange Moon Training and @Home Childcare. One side trains people in early years, education and residential care. The other supports people to become registered childminders. Together, we help the professionals who give children the best start in life.

This role sits at the heart of all of that. You’ll be supporting the people who make it work: applicants, new starters, staff, and educators.

What’s the job?

You’ll manage the admin and coordination that keeps our recruitment and HR processes running. That includes safer recruitment procedures such as reviewing applications, booking interviews, chasing references and sending suitability checks, sending contracts, and making sure everything’s logged and tidy.

You’ll work across both companies and support different parts of the team. You’ll help new people get settled, keep systems updated, and deal with the kind of tasks that might seem small but really matter.

It’s a mix of admin, people contact, and problem-solving. You won’t be left in the corner ticking boxes; we’ll support you to learn, take ownership and grow.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a HR or recruitment admin role
  • A Level 2 HR qualification (minimum)
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to stay organised
  • Comfortable with systems, shared files, and online forms
  • Clear, professional communication
  • Someone who follows things through and keeps track of moving parts
  • Curious, calm, and ready to take the next step in their HR career
