Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of our accommodation, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This position is suited for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Support the housekeeping team by preparing the linen for the arrivals
- Clean carpets
- Attend any cleaning callbacks
- Delivery of linen and inventory items
- Litter pick of the holiday accommodation areas in the morning
- Dealing with holiday guests face to face so, great customer service is very important
- Monitor supplies of inventory and cleaning chemicals
- Liaise with the Head Housekeeper and the Cleaning Contractor
- Jobs are logged on to a tablet so being savvy with technology is important
Experience
- Previous holiday park experience is preferred but not essential; a background in hospitality will be advantageous.
- Janitorial experience is beneficial, demonstrating an understanding of cleaning protocols and safety standards.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills is essential for interacting with guests and team members alike.
