Join the vibrant team at Somerset Cricket Club as a Hospitality Staff member, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. There are 3 positions available:
- Front of house
- Kitchen Porters (must have experience)
- Bar staff (must have worked in a pub)
Due to the nature of this role being through a freelance platform (Temper) we cannot accept student visas
You must be 18+
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations as required.
- Support culinary staff with food preparation tasks, adhering to food safety standards and regulations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests during events and matches, ensuring a high standard of presentation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including dining spaces and kitchens.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for positive resolutions.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or guest services is essential.
- Familiarity with catering operations or culinary practices is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is beneficial for maintaining a safe working environment.
- Experience in bartending or serving in restaurants or hotels will be considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
