An exciting opportunity has arisen, Stewartry Care is currently recruiting a Home Carer to join a small but dedicated team in Castle Douglas who provide one-to-one care and support to a young lady living with cerebral palsy in her own home.

We currently have sleepover shifts available which are a minimum of two sleepover shifts per week, with additional shifts available for holiday cover/sickness/absence if you'd like to pick up more. Day shifts with this service user are also available.
Sleepover details:
- Hours: 9:00PM – 9:00AM
- Pay: £156.48 per shift
- Room: You’ll have your own room to sleep in
- Support needs: Once the service user has been assisted with her bedtime routine and settled in bed, the service user will alert you if she needs assistance overnight. In the morning, the service user will require assistance with personal care - showering etc and assistance with dressing and getting breakfast, medication etc as per the service users care plan.
The service user has a Rotoflex bed and other assistive technology in place to support her independence, and full training will be provided on how to use the equipment.
Full induction and training will be provided – no previous experience needed, Ongoing support and supervision will also be provided to help you feel confident and valued in your role.
