As a professional Senior Live-in Carer (Rapid Responder) you will be expected to ensure the highest level of health and wellbeing for each client. This is a unique and rewarding role, ideally suited to experienced care professionals as you’ll play a key role in maintaining stability and quality of care during times of change or urgent need.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Live-in Carer (Rapid Responder):
Rapid Response carers are able to assess and improve client care plans to enhance wellbeing and service satisfaction; this could involve starting a new care package at short notice and developing care strategies to stabilise the placement before handing over to a carer colleague, or supporting an existing client placement for short term cover whilst proactively evaluating and improving the service in that placement.
What you’ll need to be successful as a Senior Live-in Carer (Rapid Responder)
- +3 years experience as a Live-in Carer
- Hold registration with SSSC
- SVQ Level 2 qualification or above in health and social care
- Excellent English language skills – comprehension, spoken and written
- IT skills – able to use a computer / laptop and online systems
- Drivers license and access to a car whilst on 2 week rotation
This role requires total flexibility with regards to the acceptance of placements outside of our holiday and sickness-absence policies. Due to the nature of this role the person appointed will need to be Scotland based when they are “on duty” and be willing to travel where required.
