We are looking for a talented, creative, and confident Youth Worker to join our experienced team, delivering a unique service to young people aged 11-19 across Wirral.

This part-time, term-time only role (17.5 hours per week) starts on 1st September 2025 and focuses on education, prevention, and building resilience in key areas: Relationships, Sexual Health, Substance Misuse, Emotional Health and Well-being, and Healthy Lifestyles.

About the Role:

As an HSIS Youth Worker, you’ll provide early intervention and prevention support to young people in Wirral Secondary Schools, including those who are vulnerable or at risk. You’ll design and deliver interventions, develop educational resources, and ensure our Core Offer is accessible to all. You’ll work collaboratively with the Team Leader, engage with multi-agency partners, and empower young people to make safe, healthy decisions.

About the Candidate:

We’re seeking a reliable, creative, and confident individuals with experience in lone working, excellent teamwork skills, and a passion for supporting young people. You’ll have experience of regular face-to-face youth work with young people aged 11-19 in youth projects and school settings. You will be a reflective practitioner with strong communication skills, especially with harder-to-reach youth. You will have a clear understanding of safeguarding policies and equal opportunities in youth work with knowledge of national and local youth work initiatives and methodologies.
