Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Product Design & Innovation to lead the development of cutting-edge solutions that align with our mission of greener, healthier cities. This role combines creative leadership, technical expertise, and commercial acumen to drive the design and delivery of market-leading products.
You will oversee the full product lifecycle—from ideation and prototyping to launch and iteration—ensuring that every product reflects GreenBlue Urban’s commitment to sustainability, functionality, and design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the product design and innovation roadmap in alignment with company goals and market trends.
- Innovation Management: Lead the ideation, research, and development of new products, materials, and systems that solve real-world urban challenges.
- Design Oversight: Guide the design team in creating user-centric, manufacturable, and aesthetically compelling products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and sustainability teams to ensure seamless product development and market fit.
- Supplier & Manufacturing Liaison: Collaborate with global suppliers and manufacturers, particularly in the UK and KSA, to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Customer Insight & Market Analysis: Translate customer feedback and market intelligence into actionable design strategies.
- Sustainability Focus: Champion circular design principles and low-carbon materials in all product development initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience (7+ years) in product design, industrial design, or innovation leadership, ideally within construction, urban infrastructure, or environmental sectors.
- Strong portfolio of successful product launches from concept to market.
- Expertise in CAD, prototyping, and design for manufacture (DFM).
- Deep understanding of sustainable design principles and materials.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Experience working with international supply chains and tooling processes is highly desirable.
