Role Overview

VoCoVo is revolutionising communication within the UK retail sector. As Head of Product, you'll spearhead the strategy and delivery of world-class product solutions that empower frontline teams, from retail associates to warehousing staff, to work smarter, faster, and more collaboratively.

You’ll develop and grow our Product function and own the end-to-end product lifecycle, collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales and customer success to deliver measurable business impact. In addition to working alongside the Global Product Director to refine and execute the Product strategy, you’ll be a hands-on leader, diving into the details and owning the collective decision making of the Product team. You won’t be afraid to try new approaches to solving old problems and will champion our One Team philosophy, leading a happy, productive and impactful Product team.

Please note, this role is hybrid, with a typical expectation of 1-2 days per week in the office. Time will be spent across both our Cheltenham and Shipton-under-Wychwood locations, though not necessarily at both each week.

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record in Product Management and Product Leadership, with experience scaling B2B SaaS or hardware-integrated platforms in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience growing, managing, motivating and leading Product teams. With a track record of coaching, engagement and professional development across cross-functional Product teams.
  • A confident goal-setter who is skilled at defining performance metrics and fostering a high-performance culture, where the team achieve great things with a smile on their face!
  • A trusted partner to senior leaders - you'll be comfortable working closely with a senior product leader (CPO/Director) and will have a strong bias for action and a focus on the continuity of operations.
  • Experience of championing and embedding new ways of working and inspiring teams to adopt them.
  • Excellent data-driven decision making capability. You'll be confident defining KPI's, building measurement frameworks and using analytics to shape product roadmaps and priorities.
  • A skilled communicator with the ability to influence C-level leaders, align stakeholders across functions and present complex strategies in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Experience working with voice based, IoT or hardware integrated products within retail environments would would be a big plus.


What you'll do

  • Refine and deliver the product strategy & vision across VoCoVo’s integrated hardware and SaaS offering, leading the team to translate commercial goals and customer demand into clear vision states and strategies for their value areas.
  • Ensure alignment across multiple product streams, balancing feature prioritisation, technical debt, lifecycle planning and end of life decisions.
  • Build and scale a high-performing product team. You'll hire, mentor and develop product managers, setting clear success metrics, career pathways and a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Enable data-informed decisions by defining KPI's, establishing measurement frameworks and using analytics to guide product direction and optimise outcomes.
  • Champion best practice - establish best-in-class product management processes and continuously refine the roadmap based on insights.
  • Ensure exceptional execution, partner with Engineering, Delivery, UX, QA and Operations to deliver high-quality releases on time.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment, working with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance and Legal to prepare for product launches and ensure go-to-market readiness.

Salary

Salary range: £95,000 - £110,000 per year.
