The role
As a Head of People Capability – P&SC you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Responsible for ensuring that the Global Procurement and Supply Chain function has a People Plan, aligned to the People Team priorities and functional 5-year Strategy. This role is pivotal in shaping a high-performing, inclusive and future ready P&SC workforce aligned with business priorities.
Day-to-day, you’ll be refining and deploying the P&SC People Strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Responsible for ensuring that P&SC People Capabilities are aligned with functional requirements, priority programmes and the 5-year plan
- Design and implement benchmarking, assessment and analysis tools to support standardised capability assessments
- Lead the creation and continuous improvement of the function’s talent pool, ensuring ongoing assessment, robust development plans, succession planning and support with capability gaps
- Input into the Strategic Workforce Plan, manage succession plans and work with key functional stakeholders to understand how the function needs to adapt to meet future demands
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Head of People Capability – P&SC:
- Proven experience in a people capability role or evidence of leading people capability change initiatives
- A background in, or good understanding of Procurement & Supply Chain
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
- Established experience of working in a large corporate organisation
- Experience of leading change and feels comfortable managing matrix teams

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
