As a Groundsworker at Apex Builds, you’ll work closely with our team to ensure all landscaping and groundwork tasks are carried out to a high standard. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing sites for landscaping, patios, driveways, and other hardscape installations
- Excavating, levelling, and compacting ground for sub-bases
- Laying slabs, blocks, and other paving materials
- Installing edging, drainage systems, and basic groundworks
- Assisting with soft landscaping, including turfing, planting, and general garden preparation
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently
- Ensuring the work area is tidy, safe, and compliant with health & safety regulations
- Working as part of a small, efficient crew to deliver projects on time and to Apex Builds’ standards
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £180.00-£250.00 per day
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
