Our not-for-profit Community Equestrian Centre, dedicated to offering equine-facilitated therapy, is seeking a committed and caring Groom (male or female) to join our team. About the Role
As a Groom, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal welfare of our horses, who are the heart of the therapeutic services we provide to our community. This is a full-time position requiring on-site living, with accommodation of a high standard provided free of charge as part of your employment contract.
Key Responsibilities
· Daily care and maintenance of the horses, including feeding, grooming, and health checks.
· Maintaining a clean and safe environment for both horses and clients.
· Assisting with equine-facilitated therapy sessions as required.
· Working closely with a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of horse welfare.
Requirements
· BHS Stage II Care qualification or a willingness to gain this qualification during employment.
· A genuine passion for equine care and the mission of providing therapeutic services.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
· Willingness to live on-site to ensure the best care for our horses.
