The Opportunity
As Global Head of Strategic Partnerships you will own the execution of Epos Now’s indirect sales growth strategy across the region. Reporting directly to the COO, you will be accountable for driving significant new business growth through partnerships, distributors, and resellers, while strengthening our position in the UK market and scaling into new geographies.
You will lead high-performing Business Development and Account Management teams to identify, acquire, and grow strategic partnerships that accelerate customer acquisition and revenue growth. This role demands a strategic operator, commercial negotiator, and natural leader who thrives in fast-paced, international environments.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Growth
- Own the indirect sales and partnerships P&L for EMEA, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers across the region.
- Build and execute market entry strategies for new countries within EMEA.
- Drive YoY growth in customer acquisition, channel sales, and payment attachment rates.
Partnership Development
- Identify, negotiate, and sign new master distribution partners (e.g. Exertis, Global Payments, Barclays, Ingram Micro, Bluestar).
- Secure and scale relationships with tier 1 and tier 2 resellers, ensuring repeatable and predictable revenue streams.
- Develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies with distribution and payments partners.
- Deliver against indirect sales targets, lead generation forecasts, and partner-driven revenue commitments.
Account Management & Retention
- Build and implement structured onboarding and enablement processes to maximise partner success.
- Ensure all resellers and referral partners are managed against clear KPIs for sales volume, lead quality, and revenue share.
- Conduct regular business reviews with strategic partners to identify new growth opportunities and strengthen long-term collaboration.
Commercial & Strategic Execution
- Negotiate high-value contracts, balancing commercial opportunity with profitability.
- Maintain minimum 10% net profit on business generated through the partnerships function.
- Escalate and manage bespoke or high-value proposals requiring Board-level approval.
- Translate market insights into actionable input for Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
Skills & Experience Required
We are seeking an accomplished commercial leader with deep experience in partnerships and indirect sales within the POS or Payments industry.
- Extensive leadership experience building and scaling partnerships and indirect sales channels across multiple geographies.
- Proven track record of developing and closing high-value partnership and distribution deals.
- Strong P&L ownership experience, delivering sustained profitability within a growth-focused organisation.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with significant experience structuring high-value commercial contracts.
- Board-level credibility, able to influence and present effectively to C-Suite stakeholders.
- Natural leader and coach, with a track record of driving performance through high-performing teams.
- Commercially astute, able to spot and maximise opportunities for growth across complex partner ecosystems.
- Technology fluent, with strong knowledge of POS, Payments, SaaS, APIs, and integration ecosystems.
- Resilient, adaptable, and entrepreneurial, with experience in high-growth, fast-paced, international businesses.
