The post holder will be key in coordinating referrals and quality assessing medical family history diagrams, arranging blood samples for DNA storage, and requesting relevant medical documents from hospitals and the UK Cancer Registry in accordance with GDPR and guidance from the British Society for Genomic Medicine.

The post is ideal for an individual who wishes to develop towards becoming a Genomic Practitioner, and potentially more senior clinical positions in clinical genetics accordance with career progression regulations and guidance published on AGNC, GCRAB and NSHCS websites. However, this post does not lead to registration as a Genetic Counsellor with either the HCPC or AHCS.
