Overview
We are seeking a Part Time Gardener/General Maintenance Person (3 days a week). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the garden, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained. This role requires a hands-on approach to various maintenance tasks, including garden maintenance and groundskeeping. Duties
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and appearance of the premises.
- Engage in garden activities, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, weed spraying, edging flower beds, turning compost, irrigating plants, leaf collecting in winter and clearing away debris.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various gardening activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of fences, greenhouse, gutters and equipment to identify any issues or areas that need repair or cleaning out.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment after use.
- Maintain gardens and outdoor spaces, ensuring they are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general gardening duites is preferred.
- Knowledge of gardening practices, including weed spraying, strimming, hedge trimming and general plant care.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good level of physical fitness; ability to lift heavy objects, work at height and perform manual labour.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining a safe working environment.

Pay: £14,285.70-£14,500.00 per year
