This Role
As a Games & Café Assistant at VRXtra Watford, you’ll be part of an enthusiastic and diverse team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences across both our virtual reality offerings and in-house café.
In the games area, you’ll assist guests with industry-leading VR equipment, software and games—helping them have an unforgettable time. You’ll have the chance to play, test and experience our VR content first-hand, so you can confidently support and guide customers before, during and after their sessions. Day-to-day tasks will include setting up and troubleshooting equipment, answering enquiries, maintaining general store cleanliness, and coordinating with colleagues to manage VR bookings.
In the café, you’ll play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming environment—preparing and serving hot and cold drinks to a high standard, restocking supplies, and ensuring the space remains clean, inviting and well-presented. Whether guests are arriving early, taking a break between games, or simply stopping by for a drink, you’ll help make their visit enjoyable from start to finish.
This is a varied, hands-on role that goes beyond just games or coffee—it’s about creating positive, memorable moments for every guest in a vibrant, fast-paced entertainment space.
