We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Fundraising Officer to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
As a Fundraising Officer, you will play a vital role in developing our fundraising activities and grow support for the charity. You will provide timely and efficient administration support, delivery excellent customer service to Hopian’s supporters, building strong and loyal relationships, helping to grow and diversify income in line with the charity’s aspirations.
You will efficiently handle all fundraising activities including processing donations and keeping accurate records, coordinate logistics and materials for events, assist with engaging communications, and help prepare funding applications to support the charity’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow fundraising activities.
- Support community fundraising, including proactive research for new supporters, assisting with fundraising events, and helping to deliver campaigns.
- Act as the primary contact for supporters and donors, managing enquiries and delivering exceptional donor care.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of fundraising administration, including processing donations, sending acknowledgements and stewardship materials, and managing direct debits and Gift Aid claims.
- Maintain up-to-date supporter records, ensuring accuracy in the fundraising database and compliance with data protection standards (GDPR).
- Coordinate the preparation and dispatch of fundraising materials, managing stock and logistics for supporter engagement.
