Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated female Specialist Support Worker to join our team. You will support a female by providing 2:1 support.
You will have experience in working with individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions such as unstable personality disorder.
This is a new location and we are seeking candidates who have a good work ethic and are reliable.
Shift pattern are predominately 2 hour shift with both days and nights available. Successful candidates will be asked to provide there preference to working day or nigh shifts as we have both available due to this being a new location.
Successful candidates will need to hold a full UK driving License and be willing to drive the individuals vehicle in order to support them accessing the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2:1 support to individuals with complex needs.
- Utilize initiative and strong communication skills to build trust and rapport.
- support in accessing the community.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive support.
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with adults diagnosed with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors.
- Confidence in providing 2:1 support while taking a lead role.
- Ability to engage in activities and community integration.
