At Lister House Dental Centre we have a position available for a Full-time Dental Receptionist to join our friendly, well-established, mixed practice.
To be considered for the role the ideal candidate will have some front desk reception experience or previous experience of working in a dental practice.
The role as a Receptionist
· Meeting and greeting patients providing a great first impression
· Scheduling patient appointments, answering the telephone, verify and updating patient information
· Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
· Supporting the clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
· Responsible for the collection and receipt of payments
· Liaising with other dental professionals, referral practices and laboratories
We are looking for someone with a friendly personality and professional manner and with the following skills and experience:
· Excellent communication, organisational skills and competent computer/ IT skills
· Confident and cope well under pressure
· A high standard of personal presentation
· Excellent telephone manner
· Personable, positive and enthusiastic with great patient focus
· The ability to be organise, multitask and be able to work under pressure
