Front of House Team Member
Job Description:
The Front of House Team Member will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to guests and employees at Swanston Brasserie. This position will be responsible for greeting customers and answering questions about the menu, specials, and wine.
Essential Duties:
- Greeting guests and answering questions about the menu, specials, and wine
- Preparing orders for kitchen staff while maintaining accuracy in time and temperature
- Maintaining cleanliness of front of house area including tables, chairs, floors, etc.
- Bussing tables with a wet towel before guests arrive
- Cleaning up after guests leaves
- Maintaining an organized front of house by-the-book list and by-month list
- Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen including but not limited to: tables, chairs, floors, refrigerators, sinks, trash cans, etc.
- Cleaning up after guests leaves.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of the Edinburgh menu is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
