The White House
Are you ready to join the team at Inverness’ most stylish restaurant and cocktail bar?
We’re on the hunt for Front of House staff to join our team at The White House.
Located in the heart of the city, The White House is renowned for serving up delicious seasonal dishes and quirky cocktails that delight our guests. Every weekend, we transform into the ultimate boozy brunch destination, offering a vibrant and lively atmosphere that keeps our patrons coming back for more.
We need someone who’s passionate about great food and drinks, with a flair for creating memorable experiences. If you’re a master of hospitality and love to work in a dynamic, chic environment, we want to hear from you.
Bar/Waiting/Front of House Staff
The successful applicant will support management in providing unforgettable experiences for every customer that walks through the door. We’re looking for team players and outside-of-the-box thinkers; people who love building a rapport with their customers and their colleagues.
Our ideal candidate will…
· Have experience working in a busy, sometimes high-pressure (ideally hospitality-based) environment
· Be willing to learn how to be the best of the best both behind the bar and waiting tables
· Promote high standards throughout the business
· Be passionate for quality, innovation, value for money, people and communication
· Be career-focused with an eye always firmly on progression to supervisor level.
What is this Cru Holdings thing anyway?
Cru Holdings has been leading the charge in exceptional hospitality experiences since 2009. We continue to invest and innovate in our venues and our people – even during the recent pandemic – to ensure every customer has an unforgettable visit.
With six incredible venues across the Highlands, and over 100 staff throughout the region, we’re looking for the right person to join our team. We need people with the personality, ambition, and commitment to allow us to continue to develop and grow our business.
We recently became an accreted Living Wage Employer, thanks to our commitment to fair pay and great working conditions. Positions with Cru Holdings don’t come up very often, so what are you waiting for?
Work hard, play hard
We love to celebrate our team’s efforts and achievements. We offer quarterly thank-you bonuses, events, and a swanky black tie staff awards do every year. It’s important to us that each and every one of our hard-working team feels valued and respected.
We want to turn the world of hospitality on its head. Work-life balance, mental health support, learning and qualification opportunities, on-the-job mentoring… they’re all a core part of what we do.
What’s in it for you?
OK, let’s talk cold, hard facts… our starting wage for this role is £12.25 - £12.50
You’ll get overtime if you have to work any extra hours… but we try to avoid that happening wherever possible. We’re all about that sweet, sweet work-life balance.
Twenty-eight days’ holiday to do with as you please. The world’s your oyster! (Oh, and the longer you work with us, the more holidays you get.)
All that, plus…
· Food and drink discounts at all our venues
· Treats on your birthday
· Festive savings fund
· Interest-free holiday loans
· Free coffee… because if you’re anything like us, you’ll need it to function!
What’s in it for Cru?

· The right to work in the UK.
· Great work ethic and the ability to excel as part of a team.
