We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks that contribute to a positive dining experience, from managing reservations to assisting with food and beverage service.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organised seating chart to optimise guest flow.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and dietary options.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and waiting areas.
- Support bartending operations as needed, showcasing knowledge of drink recipes and service techniques.
Skills
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided.
- A proactive approach to teamwork, helping colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.
