Front of House Assistant
The Role
We’re looking for a friendly, proactive, and highly organised Front of House Assistant to be the face of LondonEast-UK. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, tenants, and staff—ensuring everyone receives a warm welcome and top-tier service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes initiative, and consistently delivers outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all front of house queries.
- Greet visitors and tenants with professionalism and warmth
- Manage reception duties including phone calls, emails, and bookings
- Maintain a tidy and inviting reception area
- Assist with meeting room coordination and event support
- Provide general administrative support to the site management team, including the Director of Estates
- Handle deliveries and liaise with contractors when needed
- Attend site meetings with potential hosts, assist with diary management and coordination of future events (such staffing requirements, AV hire and catering).
- Deal with enquiries, complaints or maintenance issues from the tenants/visitors, escalating any issues as required, tracking progress and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Track and monitor email inboxes and distribute enquiries/work to the relevant teams.
About You
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident, approachable, and customer-focused
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
- Previous experience in a front-of-house or customer service role is desirable
- Business Admin qualification (such as Level 3), or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable interest in the built environment (property management/landlord & tenant) would be an advantage.
- This front of house role is predominantly a stand alone role, so you will need to be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Working arrangements:
Location: LondonEast-UK Business, Technology and Science Park, Dagenham
Type: Part-time (30 hours per week), Monday – Friday (9 am – 3 pm)
Salary: £14 per hour
