Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to deliver sessions across a range of venues. Including Enfield, Hackney and Ingatestone. The ideal candidate will be able to travel to different venues each day for a range of coaching hours. Roles available include a minimum of 2 days of work including around 6 hours of coaching per week, to 5 days of work including 13 - 17 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of football techniques, strategies, and training methods. This role involves not only coaching players during practices and matches but also fostering a positive team environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective training programmes tailored to the skill levels of players.
- Conduct regular practice sessions focusing on skill development, tactics, and team cohesion.
- Analyse player performance during matches and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Organise team meetings to discuss strategies, goals, and individual player development.
- Foster a positive team culture that promotes respect, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure alignment on team objectives.
- Stay updated on the latest coaching techniques and football regulations to enhance training methods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football.
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate players and build relationships.
- A deep understanding of football rules, strategies, and player development techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours across each day and also school holidays.
- Relevant coaching certifications or qualifications are essential. All coaches must have an in date clear Enhanced DBS.
