Are you passionate about flowers and creating beautiful arrangements? We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Floristry Assistant to join our team and support the daily running of our busy flower shop. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside and assist our experienced florists with a variety of tasks, gaining valuable skills in a creative and fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, a love of nature, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the practical aspects of floristry, including preparation and arrangement of flowers under the guidance of experienced florists.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable flowers and floral arrangements to meet their individual needs and occasions.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to enquiries, taking orders, and addressing any concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
- Serve customers promptly and efficiently, managing flower-related requests and processing orders from the public both in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment within the floristry department through regular housekeeping duties.
- Fulfil customer orders accurately and on time as directed by the Line Manager.
- Replenish and merchandise products on the shop floor as required, ensuring all items are correctly priced, clearly labelled, and attractively displayed.
