We’re Hiring: Junior Florist (Veevers Carter)

Make the extraordinary, everlasting — with us.

At Veevers Carter — part of the Event Concept family — we craft extraordinary floral experiences that leave a lasting impression. As a leading creative artistic florist, we specialise in designing unique event moments for household brands, private clients, and iconic venues across London and beyond.

We’re collaborative, down-to-earth, and serious about delivering creative excellence — all while finding time for lightness and fun. If you’re passionate about flowers, design, and delivering exceptional events, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Junior Florist to join our team at Veevers Carter. You’ll play a key role in supporting the floral team with day-to-day operations, from conditioning flowers and maintaining the studio to assisting with event installations and plant care. This role offers hands-on training in event floristry and the chance to work collaboratively on creative, fast-paced projects.

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

  • Have a genuine passion for flowers, plants, and design — you light up when surrounded by blooms
  • Love the little details and take pride in getting things just right
  • Are proactive, organised, and always one step ahead
  • Are punctual and dependable, ensuring the team can count on you
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same
  • Want to learn, grow, and be part of a creative and collaborative team

You don’t have to tick every box — we care just as much about curiosity, adaptability and a growth mindset as we do experience on paper.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Helping to keep our floral studio clean, tidy, and well
  • Conditioning flowers and prepping them with care, ready for arrangements and installations
  • Counting, checking, and allocating flowers to ensure everything’s in place for our florists to create
  • Supporting freelance florists across a variety of projects, big and small
  • Working closely with the team to bring floral installations to life on-site at events
  • Ensuring all events are packed down smoothly and efficiently, keeping things running like clockwork
  • Caring for plants in our studio, garden, and office, keeping everything green and gorgeous
  • Gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job training in event floristry, with support every step of the way
  • Helping to maintain an organised workspace, including restocking, waste management, and keeping materials in order.
  • Being open to learning new techniques and floristry skills from senior florists and mentors.
  • Following health and safety protocols in the studio and on-site.
