About the job
Cranstoun’s housing service in Wandsworth offers supported housing to borough residents in need of drug and alcohol support. We now also offer a floating support service to help clients living in the community or transitioning between different types of accommodation. Our services are designed to promote stability, reduce harm, and improve long-term outcomes for people facing substance use challenges.
This role provides support to adults with drug and/or alcohol use or abstinence. The Floating Support Worker will support people living in supported housing, temporary accommodation, or in the community. The aim is to help service users maintain their tenancies, reduce harm, and improve wellbeing. This part-time role is based on-site at one of the supported housing projects. Visits outside the site are only carried out when necessary.
You will receive on-the-job training and support, as well as access to a wide range of learning opportunities both from Cranstoun and partner organisations. We are looking for people with experience in providing support to people with multiple disadvantages. Experience working in supported housing, housing-related support, or community outreach would also be advantageous.
