Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Flexi/ Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, while also managing various warehouse tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, materials handling, and mechanical knowledge to ensure smooth operations.
Licences must be external and in date
Candidates must be flexible to work weekends as required

Duties
- Operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
- Manage inventory using the warehouse management system to track shipments and deliveries.
- Must also be prepared to carry out picking/ packing duties as pert of the role
- Perform equipment repairs as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accuracy in documentation and inventory levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimise workflow and enhance productivity.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Proficient in operating both Flexi and Counterbalance forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and record keeping.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Must also be prepared to carry out picking/ packing duties as pert of the role
