Salary: £23,350 to £29,188 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience)

Are you detail-driven and confident working with numbers and data in spreadsheets and systems? We’re looking for an Expenditure Control Officer to join our Finance team and help us monitor the cost of utilities (electricity, gas and water) supplied to the communal areas of our schemes/developments.
We support agile working, so you’ll be provided all IT equipment to work flexibly between your home, and our Dartford office.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work closely with internal teams and utility providers to maintain accurate site portfolios, coordinate meter readings, and ensure invoices are processed in line with contractual agreements. The role also involves supporting the handover of new developments, liaising with suppliers to provide essential information, identifying unusual usage patterns, and responding to queries from colleagues and customers related to communal utility supplies.
What we’re looking for
- Strong attention to detail and confident use of Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Understanding of utility pricing and billing processes.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, organised approach.
- Awareness of the social housing sector is desirable.
