Contract: This is a temporary contract to cover maternity (approx 12 months)

Ornua is actively seeking a Finance Manager to join our wider finance team as we continue our growth trajectory. As our next Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective financial management and reporting for the Own Label business segment, ensuring gold standard business partnering is provided to continually add value both internally and externally.

Why This Role Is Valuable:
The is responsible for;
- Effective leadership of the retailer-focused Finance Business Partnering team, with an emphasis on growth and development
- Playing a key role in driving the overall effectiveness of the wider Commercial Finance Team and contributing towards a strong team culture
- Responsible for overseeing and consolidating the financials for the own label segment of the business, ensuring effective management of partner customer Open Book agreements, highlighting key business risks, driving internal understanding and considered decision making
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring excellence, consistency and continuous improvement both within our business partnering approach and the quality of financial insight given, both internally and externally
- Playing a key role in the budgeting and forecasting processes, taking ownership for the accuracy and understanding of the overall own label position
- Ensuring the relevant financial controls are in place to drive accuracy throughout all the teams’ activities
- Delivering insightful financial reporting, ensuring it is continually reviewed and adapted in line with business needs
- Ensuring robust overhead management support for both the Commercial & Category functions
- Providing financial support on key business projects where required
What You Bring To The Role:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) with Post Qualified Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel/Powerpoint
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to partner non finance functions
- Ability to create and deliver effective presentations, both internally and externally at all levels
- Commercially astute with strong analytical skills and knowledge gained in relevant FMCG or food industry
- Experience in business intelligence systems
- Previous people leader experience
