ABOUT THE ROLE

The Finance Executive - Corporate will support the Director of Finance – Corporate with the day-to-day handling of corporate accounting, including but not limited to payment preparation, journal postings, reconciliations residential service charge. The candidate is to ensure compliance with statutory requirements; enforce and satisfy both internal controls and external audit requirements and related policies and procedures.

ABOUT YOU

  • Ideally 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Advantageous to have a hotel operation knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with enforcing internal controls and associated policies and procedures
  • Requires knowledge of accounting and finance
  • Working knowledge of the major areas and the skill to integrate and communicate that information
  • Possess communication skills in terms of the ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence professionals
  • Excellent spreadsheet and word processing skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Strong and confident personality coupled with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Analytical and have the drive to initiate new ideas or plans
  • An organised and methodical approach
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Very good to excellent ability to interpret and report financial information
  • Good time management for meeting strict deadlines
  • Knowledge of and experience with SUN accounts

ELIGIBILITY

In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK, or be able to acquire such eligibility. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
