The Role
We’re seeking a detail-focused and proactive Finance Assistant to join our remote team, supporting the Finance Manager in delivering smooth and efficient finance operations. You’ll play a key role in processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid finance administration experience (or studying towards an AAT qualification) who enjoys working independently, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced but supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices, staff expenses, and credit card transactions.
- Assist with monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
- Support payroll, VAT returns, and payment runs.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Respond to finance-related queries from colleagues and suppliers.
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance checks.
What We’re Looking For
- AAT qualified, part-qualified, or relevant finance experience.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
- Highly organised with great time management skills.
- A team player with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote role.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
