We are looking for a rehabilitation *Female Support Worker required to work with a 74-year-old lady part time or bank.
Your role will be to assist our client with retaining her independence at home.
You will be supporting with some personal care, meal preparation, Physiotherapy shopping, gardening, laundry, light domestic duties and assist with a small friendly dog.
As well as care and support, you will be trained by the appointed therapists to be able to carry out a rehabilitation programme.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
Working Hours:
Thursday & Fridays: 09.00am – 11.00am
Occasionally the role will include support with taking our client out socially, shopping and for appointments. You will need to be a driver. By prior arrangement working until 2pm
Some Saturdays: 09:00am-11.00am flexible to the client’s needs.
Rates of Pay:
Weekdays: £15.00 per hour
Saturdays: £16.00 per hour
Bank Holidays: £32.00 per hour
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.
