Summary
As an In Home Caregiver at Visiting Angels Coventry, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes. This position is essential in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities for clients in their homes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed regimens.
- Support clients with mobility and transportation as needed, including driving to appointments or errands.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care (preferred but not essential – training can be provided)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
- Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if required.
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
