Job Purpose
·To assist the Food & Beverage team in serving guest.
·To maintain the highest standards of service and hospitality at all times.
·To function as part of a team that is beneficial to the F&B team
Duties and Responsibilities
·To arrive on duty in accordance with the roster and the Employee hand book.
·To effectively manage your time and productivity whilst at work.
·To follow and complete any instructions given to you by any senior member of staff and assist the entire F&B operation where and when needed.
·Maintain high standards of hygiene and service at all times
·Actively strive to ensure that all guests have an excellent dining experience.
·Respect and support your fellow colleagues.
·Demonstrate and maintain high levels of customer service.
·Ensure Hotel rules are adhered to at all times.
·To ensure that any maintenance faults are reported to the relevant department following Company procedures.
·Be fully conversant with and comply with the Health & Safety Policy of the Hotel
·Attend Fire, COSHH, Health & Safety and Food Safety Trainings as specified by the Management.
·To carry out daily mise en place, daily schedules and collect stores.
·Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, fixtures, service area in station assigned.
·Cleans and re-stocks service station.
·Knowledgeable of all the equipment in the outlet, and responsible usage and proper handling of these
·Ensure all operating equipment is handled carefully avoiding abuse and minimizing breakage according to SOPs
·Wash glassware and utensils as required and ensure items are correctly organised at all times
·To ensure that all interaction with guests is personalised and professional, to ensure that customers are addressed by name where possible.
·To ensure the smooth running of the service
·Anticipate guest needs.
·To meet the shift patterns based on the rota according to the business needs
·Ensure all tables are clean and relayed.
·To report any customer complaints to the Manager / Supervisors immediately.
·To ensure that the correct bill is presented to the guest and payment made accordingly.
·To maintain a good working relationship with your colleagues and other departments.
·To contribute to the building of team spirit within the department
·To carry out any other duties as may be appropriate to the grade and scope of the post.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
