Here at Ecoglass Ltd, we are looking for a Factory Operative to work on our backshift on the production line .
Key responsibilities will include;
- Cut to size aluminium and plastic spacer bars using the automatic snip saw
- Assembly of spacer bars
- Fill bar on the automated desiccant filling machine
- Glass washer infeed
- Spacer bar butyling
- Frame setting
- Automatic sealing robot
We are looking for someone with the following competencies;
- Glass handling experience desirable
- First Aid Certificate desirable or willing to complete training.
- A self-starter by nature with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Remain calm under pressure
- Physically demanding role
- Confident in the handling of glass
Working hours; 40 hours per week,
Monday - Thursday 5.00pm -2.30am Fri 4.00pm -8.00pm, hours may alter slightly.
You would be training for the first 2-3 weeks on the day shift working Mon -Fri 7am -4pm. Then move onto the backshift, working the hours set out above.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
