Job Description

About Us
Midwich is a forward-thinking AIM listed organisation, whose international growth projection is both exciting and demanding. Our partners are world leading brands including Samsung, LG, Philips and Panasonic to name a few and they demand effective marketing that delivers results through sales.

Part of Midwich’s future strategy is to continue its successful buy and grow activities, which have traditionally been led by the Group Managing Director.

As one of the leading AV/IT distribution Companies in the UK, we offer a range of exciting career paths in Sales, Business Management, Finance, Marketing and Logistics to name but a few.

About the Role
Midwich Ltd is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of a diverse range of events across the AV and IT industry. You will play a key role in ensuring a premium experience for staff, vendors, resellers, and end users — from concept through to post-event reporting. Working with an exciting portfolio of global brands, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-impact industry events that align with Midwich's business goals.

What you will be doing in this role
  • Assist in planning and executing events for Midwich Ltd, its sister companies, and wider industry audiences.
  • Ensure all event touchpoints deliver a ‘cut above the rest’ experience for all attendees.
  • Support the creation and implementation of event-specific marketing plans in coordination with the broader Marketing team.
  • Liaise with vendors to understand and manage their expectations, ensuring all contractual and promotional commitments are fulfilled.
  • Manage internal planning documentation, budgets, timelines, and checklists to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Partner with internal and external sales teams to produce event collateral, communications, and timely updates that drive attendance and engagement.
  • Generate comprehensive post-event reports including ROI analysis, attendee feedback, performance metrics, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Distribute leads and key outcomes from events to relevant internal stakeholders and external parties where appropriate.

What you will bring to the role

Attention to Detail:

  • High accuracy in scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Able to spot gaps or inconsistencies in plans before they become problems.

Problem-Solving Mindset:

  • Resourceful under pressure, with the ability to adapt quickly when things don’t go to plan.

Team Collaboration:

  • A team player who thrives in cross-functional environments, working with Marketing, Sales, and external stakeholders.

Customer-Centric Focus:

  • Always thinking about how to improve the experience for attendees, vendors, and partners.

Creativity:

  • A flair for creating standout experiences and thinking outside the box when it comes to event formats, themes, or promotions.
