We have a very exciting opportunities to expand our pool of Trainers to support the running of our centres, being responsible for the learning and achievement of all learners in the class.
To assist our programme delivery, we are currently looking for enthusiastic, motivated and supportive tutors who can deliver Entry Level, Level 1 & Level 2 programmes in Functional Skills English, Maths & ICT.
Contract Type: Part Time: Freelance hourly rate or Fixed day rate positions available
Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Tutor your responsibilities will be to:
- Ability to deliver engaging and professional teaching of English, Maths and ICT at entry level, level 1 and 2 to learners.
- Ability to plan and assess learning and provide feedback.
- Be able to work effectively in both remote and face to face situations with learners.
- Provide advice, guidance and support to the learners and ensure to track and record their progress during the programme to their maximum potential.
- Mark and assess learners' work within the correct time frames to a professional standard.
Education, Qualifications and Training requirements
One following teaching qualifications are essential:
- Postgraduate/Professional Graduate Certificate in Education
- Assessor/ IQA qualifications.
- Teaching experience, particularly with a focus on adult learners
- Recent industry experience for their subject area(s)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills verbally and written
- Able to deliver virtual courses online and classroom delivery
- IT Literate- MS Office, Outlook, Zoom
- Strong organisational skills
- To be self-motivated with an initiative in solving practical problems and limited supervision
- Demonstrate a creative and imaginative approach to learner-centred delivery
- Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of our learners
- Digital classroom delivery
- Preparing effective written and visual teaching materials in line with course requirements
- Work as part of a team and to develop and sustain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
Salary: Competitive/Negotiable
