About the role:
This is a key operational role in the Control Room, reporting to the Duty Process Manager, as part of a team responsible for the coordination of the Linehaul vehicles transitioning on site. Also pivotal in the day-to-day management of the Ryton based Linehaul drivers.

About the role:
This is a key operational role in the Control Room, reporting to the Duty Process Manager, as part of a team responsible for the coordination of the Linehaul vehicles transitioning on site. Also pivotal in the day-to-day management of the Ryton based Linehaul drivers.
- Understand and interpret Linehaul schedules as produced by the Linehaul Planners.
- Matching of drivers to schedules.
- Production of outbound loads and load manifests for driver despatch purposes.
- Briefing and debriefing of site-based drivers including agency drivers.
- Downloading of Digicards and production of infringement letters if relevant.
- Completion of Agency Declaration Forms and Agency Hours Forms.
- Allocation and recording of vehicles issued.
- Processing of vehicle defect notes in line with legal and company policy requirements.
- Vehicles inbound and outbound processes via Yard Management System.
- Movement and positioning of load units on site via Yard Management System.
- Liaison with warehouse staff regarding inbound and outbound loads.
- Production of internal operational reports as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience gained in a similar role
- Outstanding communication skills and be able to commute in writing and verbally with confidence with stakeholders at all levels
- High levels of competency in computer literacy skills, specifically being able to use Microsoft Office software packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
