The Deputy Head of Event Operations will support the Head of Event Operations in the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of all events across the Pension Bridge portfolio and other strategic events. This will include the conception to completion planning and delivery of our US summits within the financial sector for With Intelligence. as well as supporting the leading and managing the New York events team, providing guidance, support and performance management.
This busy role would suit an articulate and confident senior event manager with meticulous attention to detail and planning. Existing experience managing all aspects of a high end event portfolio and line management is essential, along with the ability to hit the ground running in a fast paced environment and managing multiple budgets and events. This role requires experience and competencies within event platforms and software systems as well as a fast learner who can adapt quickly.
Responsibilities
- Reports into: Head of Event Operations
- Assist in developing and executing the event operations strategy in line with company objectives
- Oversee the operational delivery of events from planning through to post event evaluation - for the Pension Bridge portfolio and strategic partnerships
- Team management; line management, training, performance reviews and recruitment
- Budget management; budget development, tracking and reporting
- Liaise with and manage all internal and external stakeholders; building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Use of various platforms and software systems
- Contribute to post event reporting, analysis, and process improvement
Requirements
- Proven corporate event management experience
- Proven experience in senior event management, with a strong understanding of event planning, logistics, and execution
- Excellent organisational, planning and multi tasking skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in budget management and financial reporting
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in relevant software and event management systems
- Customer service focus and a commitment to delivering high quality events
- Willing to work unsocial hours as required

- International travel may be required
