Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during treatments. You will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper hygiene practices.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
- Take medical imaging, such as X-rays, to assist in diagnosing dental issues.
- Assess patients' oral health by examining gums and teeth, recording findings, and developing treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
Skills
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques to capture accurate diagnostic images.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to oral health and dental care.
