We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Demolition Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely dismantling structures and removing materials in preparation for new construction or renovation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of various demolition techniques and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment effectively.
Responsibilities
- Safely demolish buildings and structures using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Operate power tools and hand tools, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Remove debris and hazardous materials, adhering to environmental regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of sites for new construction, including masonry, roofing, and electrical work as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to minimise risks on site.
Skills
- Proficient in using power tools such as saws, drills, and jackhammers.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques for safe dismantling of brick or stone structures.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems to assist in safe demolition practices.
- Ability to plumb and roof as required during demolition processes.
- Experience in painting, welding, or carpentry is advantageous.
- Strong ability to fabricate materials as needed on site.
- Excellent physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks throughout the day.
