Role Overview
As a Deli Van Driver, you’ll be the friendly face of Posh Nosh for our daily customers. Driving a pre-stocked company deli van on a fixed regional route, you’ll deliver fresh breakfast and lunch items to businesses, building strong customer relationships and supporting upselling opportunities throughout your route.
You’ll start your day from our Ilkeston depot at 8:00am and return by 2:00pm, with options for additional hours on longer routes or during events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independence, customer interaction, and takes pride in representing a trusted local brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a fully stocked company deli van on a fixed route, delivering to local businesses.
- Provide excellent customer service, building rapport with regular customers.
- Actively promote and upsell food and drink products.
- Maintain van cleanliness and ensure stock is presented in line with Posh Nosh brand standards.
- Accurately manage stock levels, sales takings and basic reporting at the end of the route.
- Comply with all relevant food hygiene, safety, and driving regulations.
- Represent the Posh Nosh brand with professionalism, punctuality, and care.

- Daily sales volume and upsell performance
- Customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Route punctuality and efficiency
- Cleanliness and presentation of the deli van
- Compliance with food safety and vehicle protocols
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence (clean)
- Friendly, reliable and customer-focused approach
- Confident communicator with a proactive sales mindset
- Able to work independently and follow a structured routine
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills
Desirable:
- Experience in a driving, catering, food delivery or customer-facing role
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards (training provided)
- Local area knowledge around Ilkeston and the East Midlands
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£13.13 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
