The Mill in Lurgan is seeking an experienced Deli Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and service in a fast-paced environment.

Experience working in a bustling café, deli or Subway would be advantageous as the majority of skills would be transferrable.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble bagels and other menu items, maintaining a cool head during the rush
- Prep food from raw
- Make soups and other menu items to the exact recipe
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at all times
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Operate equipment and ovens
- Keep the kitchen in immaculate condition at all times
- Complete daily paper work
- Check stock inventory and place orders
- Follow open and close instructions
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, Subway/sandwich shop or food preparation setting is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Knowledge of HACCP and record keeping
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Experience with meal preparation and handling various ingredients
Expected hours: 25+
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: Up to £12.50 per hour
