Data, Assessment and Exams Officer
Grade 5, SCP 18 - 23, £30,559 - £33,366 (pay award pending)
36 hours 40 minutes per week / Term time plus 10 days
Actual pro rata salary - £26,840 - £29,306
We are seeking an organised and detailed-focused Data, Assessment and Examinations Officer to join our Data Team. This key role supports the smooth running of assessments, reporting, and examinations, and ensures accurate use of our Management Information Systems (MIS).
You will lead on the administration of internal and external exams, manage pupil data and reports, and produce timely analysis to support school improvement. You’ll also oversee statutory returns, ensure GDPR compliance, and work closely with staff, students, and families.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong data and ICT skills (SIMS, Excel, Power BI etc)
- Understands exams protocols (Training can be provided)
- Awareness of data protection
- Is methodical, accurate, and able to manage deadlines
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Excellent organisational skills

This position will be based at Saddleworth School, but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.
