COOK/BAKER
We are seeking the right candidate to work within a small warm compact efficient kitchen - taking a leader role working alongside myself ..
You will be working in a team of 2 in the kitchen on week days (one washing up and prepping ) and a team of 3 on weekends.
This is mainly a role solo with just the help when needed - we are a cafe not a restaurant so one minute its bonkers next it’s not .. but there is always something to do.
This is a role to think on your own and be organised with timings - efficiently run fast paced as we are a small hold to deliver food out quicker for a turnover
The kitchen is small but efficient. Guaranteed 2 days off in a row - a Tuesday and Wednesday.
working days are generally from 7am-3:30/4 so very sociable hours with an early close on Sundays.
main role for the applicant includes- baking cakes and scones for the shop window daily, prepping, cooking and serving of breakfast and lunch, clean down of kitchen at the end of service (as well as some washing up on week shifts)
knowledge of allergens is helpful as we have some coeliac/gluten intolerant regulars but we can train you if needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 35 per week

Experience:
