Haydon View Care Home is looking to recruit a new Cook. Haydon View is a 25 bed residential home based in Haydon Bridge. The position is 30 hours per week over 3 days, 8am till 6pm, alternative weekends.
Daily duties of a cook include:
- Preparing vaired and nutritional and appetising menus and agreeing them with residents
- Catering for residents with different dietary needs
- Preparing and serving all meals in a timely manner
- Maintianing the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Completing ordering of catering supplies for the residents
- Maintaining documentaiton as required by the Food Hygiene Standards Authority
Skills/Qualifications:
- Food preperation and nutrition
- Catering skills
- Time keeping
- Preparing menus
