About the role
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, the Contracts Specialist be the main point of contact for all contractual and compliance matters at Insite. This is a unique and highly varied role, with the opportunity to be involved in matters covering commercial, data privacy and corporate, amongst others, and will interact with every area across the business. Duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities for the Contracts Specialist include:
- Administering and issuing commercial contracts (services agreements, SaaS Agreements, NDA, supply agreements, etc.) with clients and suppliers based on instructions from the sales team.
- Maintain adherence to standard templates, forms and processes and agreeing any necessary variations on a contract-by-contract basis.
- Oversee the company’s privacy/compliance processes ensuring compliance to GDPR in respect of contract documentation and associated policies and support responses to customers’ requests related to data privacy (e.g. data subject requests, erasure requests).
- Support liaison with Information Commissioners Office where required.
- Maintain and update a database of all GDPR and data protection/privacy activities & liaise with the P&C team to ensure company-wide GDPR training is effective and up to date.
- Work closely with our Sales & Legal Administrator who assists with drafting, record keeping and general admin.
- Provide general administrative support for contract matters on an "as needed" basis.
- Work closely with senior management in reporting on contract trackers.
- Support ISO accreditation processes and audits regarding document tracking and processes.
- Flag commercial or contract matters which require escalation to, or support from, internal or external legal advisors.
Location and working hours:
The role may be based out of our Peterborough City Centre or London offices, Liverpool Street with hybrid working at Manager’s discretion.
We are open to discuss a range of working options.
This role can be full time (37.5 hours per week), 09:00 - 17.30 M-F, with a 30-minute lunch break, plus two 15-minute breaks (unpaid) or part-time (minimum of 30 hours per week), with flexibility as to the distribution of working hours during the working week (e.g. to fit within school hours).
Required skills and attributes:
- Educated to Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in appropriate field.
- Proven experience in similar roles, e.g. legal executive, contracts administrator, paralegal or equivalent, preferably, with commercial contracts experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection is preferable, however a genuine interest and some understanding of Data Protection laws and regulations will also be considered.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of business partners.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Ability to manage a high volume of workload.
- Excellent organisational, time-management and adherence to deadlines skills.
- Pragmatic thinker with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive, positive can-do attitude, good humour and team player.

- Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 based on experience
