What Makes This Role Different?
This isn’t a typical “social media assistant” job. We’re offering you the chance to be the face and voice of a fast-growing fitness brand.
You’ll:
- Create scroll-stopping video content that drives awareness and sales
- Attend and lead content creation shoots with the TRYN team and affiliate creators
- Help bring our website launch campaign to life with creativity and flair
- Stay on top of viral TikTok trends, audio, and editing styles
- Represent TRYN at events, expos, and social activations
- Play a core role in shaping our content, voice, and creator network from scratch
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create original, trend-aware content across TikTok, Instagram, and Reels
- Film and edit short-form videos using phone + CapCut/Adobe (Reels, POVs, transitions, etc.)
- Design aesthetic visuals using Canva/Photoshop for static content and stories
- Plan and lead content shoot days (studio, gym, outdoor, lifestyle)
- Stay current with what's trending in fitness content, audio, and storytelling formats
- Work closely with the founder to brainstorm brand campaigns and ad concepts
- Collaborate with and help recruit other fitness creators or influencers to grow the brand
- Strategically build TRYN’s online presence and following in anticipation of our launch
- Support the visual direction of our upcoming website and campaign
Who We’re Looking For
- 2+ years experience in content creation, social media strategy, or brand storytelling
- A strong personal or client portfolio showing TikToks, Reels, and aesthetic IG posts
- Confident being on camera and engaging — you’ll represent TRYN’s values and tone
- Deep understanding of TikTok culture, trends, editing tools, and algorithm behavior
- Strong aesthetic sense and visual storytelling ability
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Great communicator — both in captions and IRL with team members
- Experience in fitness, PT, gym culture, or wellness is a major plus
- Able to travel for shoots and events when needed
- Highly self-directed, but collaborative and responsive to feedback
