Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential assistance to women with complex care needs, ensuring their well-being in their homes. We will support you to take the client out in the day and evenings to local coffee shops and wine bars, we also encourage our staff to bring ideas to the client and the senior team to give these ladies the best life they can have.

Duties
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with day time care needs such as bathing, food and fluids and monitoring.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being.
- Assist with medication management and ensure adherence to prescribed care plans.
- Support clients with mobility challenges, including transferring them safely from bed to chair or assisting with walking.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a social care role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- An ability to work throughout the night keeping clients safe
- A background in complex care or senior care is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of complex care practices is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining client records and care plans.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
